My brother sent me a card with a picture of me on the front. The picture was from like 5th grade. I will probably always keep the card cause I don't have old pictures of myself around. My parents have most of my old pictures.

Making birthday cards is a lot more personal than purchasing pre-made cards. It shows thoughtfulness that you would take the time out to make the card and mail it to the person. In addition it shows that you want to give to that person and make them feel special. It allows you to give to others and fill a portion of your heart that you were created for. To give to others. When was the last time you got a birthday card in the mail from someone other than a family member? There are many levels of relationships to send birthday cards. From parents, to grandparents to grandkids. Friend on one side of the country to the neighbor next door. Even businesses try to connect on your birthday. What is the appropriate time frame to send a belated birthday card? 45-60 Days after the birthday is still within a window of making a positive impact. If it is beyond 2 months then be sure to have a good or funny explanation why the card is so late.
